Celebrating 10 years of supporting global girls’ education efforts.
”Girls with dreams become women with vision – let’s create a world where this vision runs wild and free.”
Februhairy is a celebration of the power of education to elevate, illuminate and transform. Every February, schools raise money for educational initiatives by unleashing the hairiness of the students, teachers and parents.
Colour your hair, cut your hair, grow some hair (gentlemen), grow some hair (ladies – a bit slower), shave your hair, gel your hair, spike your hair!
Or conquer a fear that makes the hairs on the back of your head stand up. Or just turn up in your most colourful clothes.
2020 is a leap year, but you do not want to turn up on the 29th, which is a Saturday, so check with your school what day of Februhairy (February) they are celebrating.
Just a gold coin donation (preferably a small one, ie $2) gets you in on the action. Ask your school to sign up today if they have not already.
